Saxophonist, Bandleader, Composer

Ingrid Li, 20, is an up-and-coming saxophone player based in Vancouver and Montreal. Currently attending McGill’s Schulich School of Music, she is known for her warm, powerful alto sound and enjoys working as a bandleader, composer, and sought-after side-woman across Canada. Ingrid won the Fraser Macpherson Jazz Fund Scholarship twice in 2023 and 2026 and leads her music school’s gender equity club, Schulich Sisters Society. Ingrid has had the privilege of studying with jazz luminaries Camille Thurman, Ira Coleman, Min Rager, Remi Bolduc, and James Danderfer.
